I'd like to know what you guys think in terms of things I could maybe do differently to enhance this idea, or even ways you would change it to match your playstyle! If it isn't your cup of tea, no worries. I've easily logged 10+ hours over the past 3 days, some of which came from the excitement of building this system but most of it has come from running the dungeons with these parameters. I think this accomplishes the goal of making it a bit more difficult along with making it an interesting, fresh take on the dungeons. I definitely think there are different ways to make the game more difficult, don't get me wrong. I do max difficulty and length every time. For now these are only the regular one plus the 3 that are added from Outer Rim (Jedi, Sith, Bounty Hunters) but I'm sure I could add more as more mods come out. I may add them back when I do my "Extra Modifier" wheel but I don't have a good system for that yet.Īfter spells, I go to my dungeon type. I also stay away from merges since those are pretty easy to hit/kill. I did think about changing the odds for "No Spell" as well, but I haven't really found that the spell has had too much sway over victory so far. I also reduced the chances of getting the "better" spells, at least better for me, since casting gravity is a lot more powerful (with the mods I have installed) than just the imbue, but the reverse is true for fire. I also tended to use the gravity spell a lot to get out of sticky situations, so this definitely eliminates that urge. As you can see, it separates a regular cast and imbue, as I did find that having free reign of each spell when I got it (since the wheel was previously just the 4 spells by themselves) was a bit too easy.
